MIDTERM PROCESS

Goals and concept.

The concept for our CNNC design is the idea of “subtle approach to surprise”. Throughout the entire CNNC space there are a number of subtle moments that appear everywhere from the small specialized foliage in offices to the grand cultural gallery of artwork applied to the rooftops of first floor rooms. We focused on three main goals to apply to our design, they include:

*Strong expression in small scale
*Balance and
*Connection

To implement these goals we:
*Used vibrant colors and materials in small amounts
*Create balance by contrasting colors, textures, and special arrangements and
*Create connections to nature, cultures, and spaces by utilizing natural light, shrubbery and artwork.

Designer Ads

Ad 1
This advertisement for Red Queen Fashion around the world portrays the message well and apeals to it's audience in a number of ways. In each sub picture there are women from from various cultures signifying the diversity of fashion and the beauty of the female. The ad also is visually appealing due to it's many displayed environments, grand color palette, and displayed lighting. The equal spacing of images both created leverage between each cultural symbol as well as signify the equality of all aspects of fashion.

Ad 2

This ad is designed well due to the integration of the liquid substance with the model disposition and purse, the use of a accent color with black and white contrast and the graphic nature of the image. Fashion is the focus and the text along with the image both complement each other in meaning and appearance.
